A huge welcome to the Year 5 class page where Mr Taylor is the class teacher!

Homework

Maths homework is set on Seesaw on a Wednesday and should be returned by the following Wednesday. Paper copies are available if you’d prefer. Spelling tests are on Fridays with spellings for the week set on SpellShed. If you have any problems with any of your homework, please let us know.

Seesaw

You will all have a login for Seesaw for you to upload your work and to share your learning with your families. If parents and carers have a query, they can send a message to staff members and they will get back to you.

Reading
We want to create a class of readers who love reading - not only because it’s fun, but because it’s a life skill too! If you cannot find a book, have a chat with one of us and we’ll advise you. Home reading should happen at least 5 times a week and in a quiet, calm place where you can focus and develop those fluency and comprehension skills.

P.E.

P.E is on Monday and Thursday. On both days, the children wear trainers with full PE kit.
