We had a fantastic time at Blackpool Zoo looking at the different animals and learning about the habitats they live in.

Identifying evergreen and deciduous trees 🌳

In science, we have been learning about plants and what they need to grow well. We have loved watching our seeds grow over the past few weeks. 🌱🌿

We enjoyed re-telling the story of Little Red Riding Hood in English.

Making tube towers in art. We enjoyed making the 3D sculptures.

In computing, we have been using the IPads to create pictures and we have started coding.

Thank you Jane for coming to show us your old toys. We have loved learning about old and new toys in history.

We loved designing and making our own puppets in D&T.

Making numbers up to 20 in maths.

We used the I-Pads for counting different amounts on White Rose Maths app.

We have made a wonderful start to the year. Year 1 have settled in brilliantly and are all set for the year ahead.

In maths, we have been sorting and counting objects.
