All About Me!
This half term, we have been learning about what makes us all different. We have explored our similarities and differences in regard to our appearance, our families and our interests. This was our first half term in school so the children were given plenty of time to get to know their friends and settle into their new classroom. In literacy, we focused on learning the alphabet and the sounds each letter usually makes. We also practised writing each letter in cursive. To develop our maths skills, the children have been counting and forming numbers to 10. In P.E. we practised throwing, catching, balancing and teamwork. We had lots of fun during our first half term and have all grown in confidence and ability.
