General Information

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact us.  We are also happy to make an appointment and meet at a mutually convenient time.  Your child's learning and well-being is very important to us.

 

Reading

Reading will be monitored regularly. Please ensure your child’s reading book and diary is in school every day so children can be heard reading and reading diaries can be monitored.  Reading books will be changed every Monday. 

 

Homework

Homework will be given out on Wednesday and returned the following Wednesday. Spellings will be given out on Tuesday and tested the following Monday.

PE

PE will take place every Monday and Thursday.  Both indoor and outdoor PE kits should remain in school in a drawstring bag.  They will be sent home at the end of each half term so that they can washed.  Please remember to bring them back at the start of each new half term.

 

Indoor kit - black shorts, white t-shirt and black pumps.

Outdoor kit - black shorts, white t-shirt, black jogging trousers (for colder days), black hoodie/jumper (for colder days) and trainers.

 

Please provide socks for any girls who are wearing tights, as tights will not be allowed to be used in PE.  Earrings must be removed; plasters cannot be used to cover them up.

 

Water, Snacks and Lunches

Please fill up transparent, sports-top, plastic bottles (available from the office for £1) with unflavoured, still water only.  KS1 children are provided with one piece of fruit a day however your child may like to bring an extra snack in too.  Please provide fruit snacks only.

Bags

Due to limitations in space, please provide your child with a messenger style bag.
