Pastoral Lead

 

Required for: Asap, 2 days a week to be agreed at interview
 

The Governors of Gilded Hollins are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Lead to join our thriving school community, where children are motivated, eager to learn, and committed to achieving their best. In this pivotal role, you will work hands on with pupils, making a real difference to their emotional wellbeing, ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, and ready to succeed.

 

You will work closely with pupils, teacher and families to identify and remove barriers to learning, providing targeted support and guidance. The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in children’s lives, both inside and beyond the classroom.

 

To be considered, you will meet the following: 

  • Have experience of pastoral work with children within a school setting. 
  • Be a calm individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing circumstances. 
  • Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and experience of working with outside agencies. 
  • Have a good knowledge of the early help processes.
  • Know the relevant policies and procedures for attendance and have implemented strategies to successfully improve attendance.

24.33hrs, 4 days a week to be agreed, 8.50-3.25pm including 30 minutes lunch break and 30 minutes lunch duty
