Uniform Update

Please note that from September 2016, with the agreement of school Governors, girls in Year Two will be expected to wear the tartan uniform detailed below. Thank you.

UNIFORM

High standards of dress help to maintain standards across school. We expect that uniform should be worn properly at all times within the school building and on school trips, unless we request otherwise or on “non-uniform” days.

 

Gilded Hollins’ uniform is as follows:

Boys

Shirt:                           Gold Polo Shirt (must have school crest)

Trousers:                    Pale Grey (long or short)

Sweatshirt:                 Dark Green (must have school crest)

Shoes:                        Black (no boots or training shoes)

Socks:                        Grey

 

Girls

Shirt:                           Gold Polo Shirt (must have school crest)

Skirt:                           Grey (Reception, Year One and Year Two children only will wear a tartan skirt)

Pinafore dress:          Grey (Reception, Year One and Year Two children only will wear a tartan pinafore)

Sweatshirt:                 Dark Green (must have school crest)

Cardigan:                   Dark Green (must have school crest)

Trousers:                   Pale Grey (long or short)

Dress:                        Green Gingham Summer Dress

Socks:                        White or Grey

Tights:                        Grey

Shoes / Sandals:       Black (no boots or training shoes)

 

P.E.

Indoor:                        Plain white T-shirt, plain black shorts, black plimsolls

Outdoor:                     Sweatshirt / hoodie, tracksuit bottoms, training shoes (Reception children do not require outdoor P.E. kit)

NB: Gilded Hollins crested fleeces and book bags will still be available.

Please ensure that ALL items of school clothing, including shoes and pumps, are clearly marked with your child’s name.
