General Information

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact us via your child's diary, on Seesaw or in person at the door.  We are also happy to make an appointment and meet at a mutually convenient time.  Your child's learning and well-being is very important to us.

 

Diaries

Your child's diary should be brought in every day.  Each day, an adult checks all the diaries for any messages.  Please record any reading homework  in the right-hand side of the diary.  Reading miles are collected every Wednesday.

 

Homework

Homework and spellings will be given out on a Wednesday and handed in the following Wednesday.

Grammar or reading comprehension

 

PE

Every Tuesday and Friday.  Both indoor and outdoor PE kits should remain in school in a drawstring bag.

 

Indoor kit - black shorts, white tee-shirt and black pumps.

Outdoor kit - black shorts, white tee shirt, black jogging trousers (for colder days), black hoodie/jumper (for colder days) and trainers.

 

Please provide socks for any girls who are wearing tights, as tights will not be allowed to be used in PE.  Earrings must be removed; plaster cannot be used to cover them up.

 

Water, Snacks and Lunches

Please fill up transparent, sports-top, plastic bottles (available from the office for £1) with unflavoured water only.  KS1 children are provided with one piece of fruit a day however your child may like to bring an extra snack in too.  Please provide fruit snacks anyway.  

 

Unfortunately, children are unable to choose their lunches in school.  Please choose your child's lunch at home using this web page:

Bags

Due to limitations in space, please provide your child with a messenger style bag.
