General Information
PE
P.E is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children come to school wearing their PE kit on both of these days.
Homework
- Reading homework will be set each week (remember 15 minutes per night). Please make sure that reading diaries are completed on Seesaw and sent back by Monday morning each week.
- Times Tables is ongoing and will be completed using a mixture of TT Rockstars online and homework.
- Maths homework will be set on a Wednesday and due back in the following Wednesday on Seesaw.
- Spelling Tests will take place on a Friday. Spellings should be practised in purple home spelling books at least 3 times and additional spelling can be completed on Spelling Shed.
Bags
Due to a lack of storage space and the safety of all our pupils, bags must be of a messenger style. The longer strap on these bags prevents bags from falling off pegs and therefore eliminates a trip hazard.
Water and Snacks
Please ensure that these are clearly labelled with your child's name. Only plain, still water is allowed in a transparent bottle and fresh fruit or vegetables as a snack.
Jewellery
Watches and stud earrings are permitted. However, for health and safety reasons, children must be able to remove all jewellery independently before each P.E. lesson.
